By now everyone’s learned the award-winning novelist Mona Simpson is also the sister of Steve Jobs. (And that the new Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson is number one on the New York Times Nonfiction Best Sellers list, although that shouldn’t come as a surprise.)

She notes, “We all—in the end—die in medias res. In the middle of a story. Of many stories.”

It took a storyteller, I think, to have the final say. Her eulogy of her brother is a lovely piece of writing. Nice.
